i have a long garden plenty space but onl a small veg plot , so im asking could i grow some asparagus in a pot an how far apart should they be , i would like to have a go at this

The plants usually reach 1m across over time so I doubt they'd be very happy in a pot.

If you do try it, though, make sure you use John Innes compost #3 and a large pot.

i didnt think they got that big , might have to retink that unless hubby can come up with a big enough pot . thanks for the info
