what breed hens are quite and friendly with children?because i dont want problems with my neighbours:)
any advice pls

I have some Orpingtons that will eat out of your hand and my aunt allows her three year old granddaughter to feed them.  They seem  to be very friendly and placid

My Opringtons, Brahmas and the Salmon Faverolle are all brilliant with my children (aged 4 and 7) they are cuddly and will feed out of the children's hands. They also run up to the children when they see them go into the garden.

my flock is  mixed with a few different breeds  the freindleyest are my four bluebells are the most tame  but i havent had any of the breeds mentioned

The Orpingtons that I have are not noisy at all.

Orpingtons are very friendly and will come running as soon as the back door is open, they are big birds so they do not fly too well.  I just love them They do make noise but only to let me know when they have laid.
