Hi, my summer rasberries arrived last week and I planted them when we had had a large frost. The ground was pretty frozen . Will this have affected the roots?  Is it worth getting new ones now just to be on the safe side? I wish that I had waited as the big freeze only lasted two days!

It's not good to plant anything in frosty ground, but I'd bet on them surviving

Most of us try not to plant in frozen ground, but raspberries are extremely hardy and should make it through just fine. Just be sure that enough soil got packed around the roots to protect them from any direct touches of frost.

it only the upper lyer of thr soil went frozen, down under, the roots are hibernating...
