Our Allotment society are unable to get any picasso spuds this year which grow very well on our site always a very good crop . :( :(
Have tryed garden centers round by us but they dont have any as well ,do any of you know why this has happened ??
All so could any of you recommend a good replacement  :) :)
keep allotments alive grow your own

I got some from my local centre, but that's not going to help you.

I like "Ambo" but they are not one of the more common spuds and you may have difficulty sourcing them locally also.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I'd managed to get picasso spuds, But like an idiot I left them in he back of the car which is parked down in the frost pocket next to the river Bourne.
It was -13 down there the other night so guess who now owns a couple of bags of frozen seed potatos? ::)

Which reminds me, all my seed spuds are still in the boot of the car  :ohmy:

Picasso was bred from Cara so I assume it may have similar qualities. I've grown both and they're fine

Postage is the killer.

went with Cara in the end and trying desiree,sante,
