Echinacea foliage died
« on: January 08, 2012, 16:55 »
I grew Echinacea flowers from seed last season so they would be ready for flowing this summer. They did well and I ended up with about 3 plants in pots kept in the greenhouse. They were attacked by slugs but have now withered away and died.

As I have never grown them before, will they come back in Spring ?

They are herbaceous perennials so it's normal for the foliage to die down Hubballi.  They should start to shoot this spring and no reason why you shouldn't get flowers this summer  :)
