Which onions?
« on: January 08, 2012, 22:53 »
Have the made any 'resistant' to white rot onion sets yet anyone know?
I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

Has anyone tried these and proved them against white rot - i'd love to know as i suffer badly with infuriating disease on my plot - this could be revelation!

There was a big discussion on this issue a few years back, where I recall someone saying so.

Any rate, you are not losing much with trying them. I might be able to donate just a few seeds to try. As I grow them almost every year. A good onion, I like them.

Good luck - just remember that 'resistant' does not mean 'proof' though.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
