Mimi potatoes
« on: January 03, 2012, 10:27 »
Does anyone know where I might be able to get some Mimi potatoes? They are a very small, pink, early variety. Thompson and Morgan used to do them but seem to have stopped.

I had a little google and found several suppliers but they are all saying out of stock, sorry   Perhaps the main potato supplier is unable to supply seed potatoes for 2012

Starting this month (through to March) there are several potato fairs being held around the country, perhaps there will be one not too far from you where you may be able to pick some up  :)
Staffies are softer than you think.

It's not looking good, even Dundry nurseries who stock one of the largest ranges, haven't got any. :(
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

It's at Ryton Gardens, just down the road from here, but I just checked their list and they are not offering them. I guess I will have to go without again, I haven't been able to get them for two or three years now. I might give T&M a ring and find out what became of them.
They were such pretty little pearly pink things!

It's worse than that. Even their named breeder does not list them:
