Gorgeous.  If I took the same picture of one of our Blackrocks at the moment I would have to censor it as she has no frilly knickers at the moment due to the moult!   ::)

Why oh why do they always decide to moult when the cold weather comes. They havent got the sense they were born with have they! :lol:

Sadly it is in their genes as to when they moult - you have to remember they are related to the jungle fowl. However also new feathers may provide more warmth than tatty old ones  :)
