Called in at Morrison this afternoon.  Lots of fruit trees, plum eating apples and cookers, plum, cherry and pear all priced at £5.00.  I bough Crab apple Red sentinel to be planted in the front gardren.  About 4 years ago I purchased one of the  Bramleys,  It has already well earned its place on the plot having given many pounds of very large cookers.

I've been searching online for another crab apple but really did not want to pay up to £22.00 as most companies are charging.

I bought vic plum last year from mottisons and 2 apples the year before that, Last year had apples on both trees, but as they are only small trees maggpies got them before we did  on the plus side they look as tho they should be good trees so well worth buying

Might just have a wonder up there today and see if they have anything left. A Bramley would come in handy too at that price

Just the standard reminder to check rootstocks before planting what becomes a huuuuge tree in an allotment or in a small garden.

i was just about to post about the morrisons frut trees aswell, lee when i went the had a varity called james something and that was a cooker!

I had the ones from morrisons on my old plot for around 7 years and they croped really well.
After 7 years they were 6 to 7 foot tall with yearly pruning.
