Help! I sowed some rocket seeds in 2 trays on 31 August and it still hasn't come up.  They are in my greenhouse and I wonder if it has been too warm in there for them.  The soil did dry out a couple of times.

If I keep the soil moist is there a chance the seed might come up or have I completely blown it?

You need to keep the soil moist at all times - rocket should germinate within a few days so these are not looking good.  You can keep going with that tray if you want, but personally I'd get on with sowing another tray to be on the safe side

at this time of year you can sow rocket in a pot outside, that should stop it getting too hot, or drying out too quickly. They don't need to be in the greenhouse until it gets cold and frosty.

Read the packet instructions and follow them to the letter then hopefully you should get good results    Good luck
