Candid Charm
« on: August 28, 2011, 19:03 »
I planted out 6 of these to fill a bit of space back in may - and i've just had the first three heads! between golf and tennis ball sized heads realy tight white curds full of fantastic flavour! Fab for a small plot or like me filling a bit of space too.

Well reccommended. ::)

Always thankful for advice!

Is this a variety of cauliflower?

(Sorry to be so dense)

'Tis on my list then now. I have been after a decent cauli to grow, having been so disappointed by All Year Round.

(Thank you)

AYR are dreadful (IMO).

Put Clapton on your list too.  Nice big curds and club root resistant taboot.

I'll have to hope Mr Sunny doesn't spot me buying more seeds  :lol: :lol: :lol:

He doesn't see why I don't empty one packet before starting another  :blink: :blink:

That's one excellent idea.. ta muchly. I'll do it in the morning at the plot and show it to him. Then later, when we go to a garden centre that sells tropical fish (for him) I can replace it  :lol: :lol:

I tend not to grow any sort of cauli late in the season as they don't like the warmer weather.

I'll second "Clapton" especially if like me you have club root problems.

In the soil that is.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
