Please could someone advise - broccili had huge thick stems, very large plentiful green leaves and pathetic broccili florets!! Presume too much of something feed/soil wise?

How long did you leave the florets to form? As regards feed etc, leaf growth will come from nitrogen.

Though brassicas love nitrogen, perhaps you had an excess of it, as the florets are their flowers.
