Frazzled pumpkins
« on: September 18, 2007, 18:41 »
Due to a lack of diligence on my part my pumkins got totally frazzled by the frost last night.  :(  Most of the leaves have curled up and gone crispy but the few fruits seem ok.

Am I ok to remove all the damaged leaves (which is about 3/4 of them)and leave the pumkins on to ripen? Or should I remove them and try to ripen indoors?

I don't think frost is forecast again for a while according to the weather forecasts.

Thanks

Fletch

I would say yes - dependent on your location - frost is a little early (pins target on chest) - so perservere with them
