As DD says for the rhubarb.

For the plum tree (i have one the same, opal) give the ground a top dressing of BFB twice a year Spring and early autum around the base of the tree to the spread of the branches, then lightly work/rake it in to the top inch or so of the soil.

I also give the leaves a tonic of seaweed extract as they're flowering, not sure if this helps but i feel it does  ;)

no wonder I couldn't find one on google  :lol: - think I'd better slink off back to my chickens  :D.
Just as a note to this my plums are poor this year and my rhubarb never grew either  :(

that is so sad that this plant doesn't exist - I love plums and Jim loves rhubarb so rhubarb flavoured plums would have been perfect  :).
Would well rotted chicken manure work for my plum trees?
