can anyone clear up problem for me i was going to order some manure but was told by one of the lads on the allotment that it contains weed killer now being use by farmers it is selective so does not harm the hay or grasses but comes out in the manure and can affect  potatoes tomatoes and beans is there away around this Thanks

Thanks made very interesting reading think i may have to leave the manure alone for now

Not all manure is contaminated, why don’t you go to the source (farmer etc) and ask if he uses aminopyralid, explain why and ask if you can take a little to do a bean test.
