Yes, I'll grow them again.  Mine grew quite well, only one bolted and my spring-planted ones are a couple of weeks away - which is about how long the over-wintered ones will last at the present rate of consumption.

I've tried a few over the years, Radar & Senshyu have been very consistent for the white ones. Snowball was usless.

The red ones, Electric, have a tendancy to bolt, but they do add colour to your dishes.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I took on my plot late last year and purchased some from Wilkinson's to cultivate something and they grew fine.I will do the same again this year.

My first year of growing... I have a mixed lot of sets coming from DT Brown (Radar, Snowball and Electric)...

Given that's 240 sets, I plan on splitting them with a couple of friends. Not bad for £7, though...

Just remember - they don't store well.

Our onions never last long enough to store well - they get eaten. To have some to store I would have to cover half of the allotment (and the other half with peas).

Senshyu grew huge and only about half bolted.

Radar not so many big ones and all except three bolted
