This is my first year of growing Spouts and I have 2 different varities which are doing well.... However they are growing out my origional Cloche I made for them.

Now they are maturing, do i still need to Net them or are they ok to leave.

and if so, any suggestions on what to use for a large Cloche would be welcomed...

I dare not remove the nets off mine at any stage. The pigeons will strip them.

As to what to cover them with depends on how they grow. If you grew them from seed it usually says on the packet.

You may have to construct a framework and cover in netting.

I used the water pipe and debri netting but at the rate they're growing they'll be through the roof in a few more weeks....might need an extension building on top  :happy:
