Probably going to plant every single kind of winter radish I can find as the black spanish rounds did nicely last year and weren't spicy (as some people say) and were nice and crisp and crunchy (not tough, again as what I've read elsewhere).  Didn't do so well with the lottie this year due to being far too busy with amateur dramatics commitments from January to May  :? Will try to look for some winter onion sets too. Hoping, once again, to get on top of the evil couch grass of doom even if I have to resort to glysophate. I'm upping my war tactics.
wistfully hoping to one day be mostly organic gardener in North London.

With our hard winters, there's nothing we can grow, but one variety of garlic will be going in soon and more asparagus transplants. Am cutting old fruiting branches off raspberry plants and will move a few so they're not so crowded in spots.

That Black Tuscan Kale is lovely - whizzed up with garlic and olive oil (after pulling out of the ground obviously).
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Have some kale and purple sprout brocolli in now. Also some chard, spinach beet and corn salad. Leaving parsnips in til frosts. Leeks already in main bed.

Just dug 3 new beds. Green manured 3 beds that were used this year.
Going to put in japanese onions and broadbeans. Take runners off strawberries and start new patch.
