My 3 jubilee orp chicks (2.5 weeks old) spend their days fighting, today they have messed eachothers faces up a bit. Do you think they could be boys if so I may cull them sooner rather than later as the other chicks do not join in with this behavior.

I know they are not fighting due to space issues as their brooder has 12ft square of space. they have constant clean food and water and a low perch to use. They are drawing blood and do not stop fighting even though I am using purple spray to cover the injurys. I am worried this will continue as I cannot seperate them for long as they need heat still(they are already in my living room)! Please try and advise as best you can, thank you.

chicks of both sexes will do the fighting bit in order to sort out the dominance thing.

Joy, is there any way I can stop them as they are really vicious, will they just continue this till they kill eachother?
