Hi,

Is there any reliable way to work out the age of a pullet?

is it a pullet or a hen?
look at it's legs how thick are they?
Is it's comb red?
Does it courtsey when you go near it?

If you could post pictures here we might be able to help.  It would be especially useful to see a shot of her whole body and also a close-up of her face.  A photo of her legs would also be good.  (Oh dear I'm going to get this site censored if I'm not careful... :blink:)

Ignore this- found the relevant bit on the Notice board.

Been reading the "how to" bit and have just tried to send a photo to the gallery but wont let me.

Can anyone please tell me the best way of importing a photo into this thread? I'm sure I'll have to resize the photos or something

Okey Dokey. Have been playing with a picture resizer and here is the result. Apologies for the lighting, hope it's clear enough.

looks very young to me, around 12 weeks ish, Looks the same as my CLB did at that age.

Thanks, just had someone else indepenently suggest 10-12 weeks via email so must be right ball park.
