Moving Gooseberries
« on: June 26, 2011, 21:14 »
I am re-arranging my fruit bushes and need to know the best time/method of moving a largish goosegog, any advice welcome.
Old soldiers never die ! They just go to the allotment.

Late autumn onwards, once all the leaves are shed & the plant is dormant.

As it's established, take as big a root ball and as much soil with it as possible.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
