Hi all

Well, I've been busy beavering away in my new UPVC greenhouse since March (and I have just ordered a much bigger one he-he) sowing and growing on and then planted lots out but is there anything that I can sow now and plant out or sow directly?

I'm happy to grow anything so any suggestions welcome, it's the plot's first year so happy to have a go at anything and see how the soil goes.

P.S. I've still got a space of about 10m x 25m on the allotment to available.

Thanks DD, I dod use the chart often.  Is there anything that can be sown later from what it shows on the chart.  I want some spouts, it says May on the chart, do you think they would be OK still now?

I think it's a bit too late to sow sprouts, but i'm sure if you go to a garden centre/nursery they might have some plants, you can grow them now!

Swedes
Cabbage
Sprouting Brtoccoli
Red Russian kale

You might be a bit late with some of these though, i'm not quite sure  
If i were you i'd go buy some plug plants   Just to be on the safe side!

The variety I'm doing (Long Island Improved) are semi dwarf and faster maturing, and the instructions say they can be sown midsummer for autumn/winter use, which I'd take to be June or July. So I think maybe it depends a bit on the variety you're sowing.
