Feeding newly sown seeds
« on: June 17, 2011, 08:36 »
Hi guys I sowed my 1st load of seeds last night and as the ground is so dry I wondered if it would benefit me to feed the planting area with fertiliser?

Would it help things along or do you have to wait until they shoot through?

I sowed

Carrots
Spring Onion
Radish
Rocket
Beetroot
Beet Chard
Shallots
Spinach
Peas
Salad Leaf

If so what should I use?  Eventually I want to stay organic but I have no natural fertilisers as yet so I'm gonna have to buy something,

Cheers

there is no need to feed seeds. They have their own supply within the seed casing.
