Hi all,

I have bought several preserve my own grown produce books and am interested in preserving things in vinegar.  however although some books tell me how to make a spiced vinegar they are not specific, do not give amounts etc and \i am therefore still in a quandar as to how to make goodquality spiced vinegar and a wine vinegar. these are so expensive in the shops that I am sure some of you must be making these.

I also have Vals book how to store your home grown produce and unless my grey matter is eluding me, theres not a definate recipe.  please tell me im wrong val and tell me the page number.

As far as I know you cannot 'make' wine vinegar, you just buy it instead of ordinary vinegar, in the same way that you can choose to buy cider vinegar.
