Hi, I sowed my chillies back in March and they took ages to germinate.  Then they suddenly came through and did really well for a while.  I'm worried because they all seem to have just stopped growing.  They are about 4" high.  Is there anything I can do to promote there growth or should I just leave them to it and see what happens?

Mine were the same about a month ago, but now they have put on a spurt and are looking well with plenty of leaf growth and flowers appearing. I think it is fairly normal for this to happen.Have you got them in small pots, ie do they need repotting?

mo-jo - the weather has been quite cool recently so that will have affected the growth rate. Also as the previous poster said they might need re-potting. Have you been feeding them - compost normally only has nutrients for about six weeks.

Thanks for the replies guys.  I re-potted them last week as I thought that might be the cause of the problem so they currently have new compost but will start to feed them in a fews weeks and just see how it goes.

Mine are the same and have no new growth after repotting

My aubs seem to have stopped growing too and I tipped some of them out yesterday and they look stunted. No new growth into the fresh compost at all
