Also, although we have many chicken keepers on here, most of them work full time etc, so we can't always see posts and reply to them as soon as they are posted.

I am sorry you lost your little girly zopadooper, but in my replies, I was just trying to explain why, sometimes ex batts don't live very long.

I agree though one poster was too harsh, but it could have been because they have seen too much cruelty to animals in the past.  some people are very attached to their chickens, as it seems you are too!

I hope the other girls go on for ages!
