overwintering lettuces
« on: September 03, 2007, 14:51 »
Last year T and M.  sold  some lettuce seeds which overwintered very well.  This year they seem to have sold out early.   Any idea where else I could look to find some   lettuce or similar to overwinter.

Many thanks,  Sean Finlay

If you like cos types, there is a variety called Winter Density which is widely available.  It needs some protection in my climate but you don't say where you are (pop it in your Profile please since it helps a lot).  :)

That's a lot of lettuce BBF.  Do you eat it all or sell it?

No point - BBF can't deal with that lot, he can supply us all!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
