I'm going to my plot now.  I fully expect to find the remnants of a pigeon banquet!

If they're like our pigeons, they don't leave remnants.  >:(
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

On our site I wouldn't dream of leaving brassica's without netting. We have rabbits, pigeons, and partridges to contend with. Then of course, there's those lovely little cabbage whites
Cheers, Comfortably Numb.

I'm just off down the greenhouse. I won't be long ..........................

Only seen pigeons at our allotment. Everything is covered though
All the way from my allotment in beautiful Derbyshire. I'm in year 3 of my allotment and wish I'd caught the bug years ago, things growing from strength to strength

I'm pleased to report that my Autumn Spear broccoli and my turnips are intact!  I have netted as many as possible.  It's my first ever go at putting a net on things though and they don't have much room for growth it has to be said?!?!  Saw quite a few white butterfly lurking around today as well so vigilance is certainly in order!

Sounds just like ours! The partridge doesn't even fly offf when we are on the plot now, she just scuttles to the other side of the plot and eats grass seed!

I did escort a very cute pheasant family off a neighbour's plot and through the hedge to the field during last week.  I think if he had found them browsing happily, they would be in the freezer by now!
