Blood in egg

Blood in egg

Just cracked an egg to use in our tea and the white of the egg was red with (I assume) blood.  Should I be concerned, or does this happen occassionally????

from what I have read this does seem to happen occasionally  :)
11 bantams (and counting!) 2 dogs 1 cat

it usually happens after they have had a fright, nothing to worry about  :)
