Hi all,
Somebody told my mum and dad that there is potato blight on the plots & to start spraying. Is this not too early to be worrying about blight?
They were told to spray all the spuds & tomatoes. I only put mine toms in yesterday, surely I don't need to worry about spraying yet???

I have had no warnings from Blightwatch and the weather is too dry in the SE for blight IMO.


Perhaps their potatoes have been nipped by frost, as we've had a few cold nights lately?

There are no recorded outbreaks of blight yet in the SE...look here

I agree, much too early for late blight yet.
