You talked me through how to worm my last girls but how to you worm Pekins that weigh nothing?  Help! The Breeder said they were wormed the week-end before they were picked up?  How do you worm chicks in a week-end?

I can't help with the worming advice (I'm guessing you will be using Flubenvet?) But I can help explain how the breeder wormed them in a weekend.

There are lots of different worming products available and some are a single dose, either applied to the skin, added to the water, or given as an oral drench direct into the beak.  The breeder would have used one of those to worm them in the weekend - although most advice says to give a second dose 10 - 14 days later to get the worms at every part of their life cycle.

Can you get in touch with the breeder and ask what she wormed them with and whether they had a single dose or a follow-up dose too?

The general wormer in France, Capizol, is a single dose given in water.  The only problem is, is that there is a 30 day egg withdrawal after.  But it is great if you are worming hens which are not in lay, or during the winter
