I harvested some spinach leaves yesterday (first pickings this year) and put them in a bolognaise for tea.

You can put spinach in so many things not just curry    It's gorgeous creamed and a bit of fresh nutmeg added

I grew an overwintering variety out on the lotty all winter (covered with Enviromesh).  It's growing like mad now. I eat the small leaves in salad, the bigger ones in my cooking and the biggest bruisers get given to the chooks.  A real value for money plant. The variety is 'Bordeaux'  It looks beautiful too with it's purple veins and arrow shaped leaves

I echo your sentiments aelf.
I am loving all the leaves at the moment even though I know everything will shortly run to seed. 
Not to worry...I'm prepared this year and have seeds already planted for replacements! Can't do without the leaves! I won't go out for meals anymore......how sad....totally addicted to leaves....(cue saxophones)
