I bought some of these yesterday. How deep do I need to plant them?

Not too deep, about the same as other bulbs, three times the depth of the bulb, which given their size is not much. They were a favourite of my Mum's and she had them for ten years. The only problem with them was the really vibrant one were short lived, but the lighter colours reproduced very well. I have just planted a load in her memory. (Or to be honest, OH did!!!)

Ten years! Wow that is very good. It's lovely that you (your OH) planted some in her memory, they mst be really beautiful. This will be the first year of growing them for me. Do you leave them in during winter?

I planted a load of freebies in a large pot about 3/4 weeks ago and I noticed today they're up!
Looking forward to seeing what colours they are....
