Does anyone use ice cubes on their raised beds/containers? I saw it done and thought it was a rather cool (sorry) idea. I've started to use it in this hot weather and hope it's ok for the plants but don't really know.

There used to be an elderly lady somewhere, who'd toss a few ice cubes up into her hanging baskets, because they were placed too high for her to water!
Don't see why not anyway, they'll be gone in a few minutes.

Thats a good tip - I'm sick of un-hooking my hanging baskets to water them
