I tried the same variety in autumn last year and didn't have any luck  :(

Just a thought but some seeds do take a while to germinate and it has still been quite cold...  Keep an eye out - they may surprise you yet.

They do 2 different varieties of White Lisbon, a summer and winter.  Was it the winter on that you tried in the Autumn?  I bought some last year, but did not get round to putting any in.  Was going to try this year.

Yes, it was the winter variety.  I did get seedlings, but they never fully developed.  It was my first try at growing anything over winter, so I put it down to my inexperience.  I planted Pak Choi at the same time and had loads of that, just no spring onions   ???

I sowed winter hardy white lisbon in September and they will be big enough to start pulling in a couple of weeks.
I`m left handed, what`s your excuse?
