hi just sowd crosbys egyptian beetroot webbs wonderful lettuce james scarlet intermediate carrot all out side straat in the grand do i need to cover tham

The beetroot should be fine, you will want to put some netting over your lettuce or the pigeons will have them, and you may want to consider covering your carrots with some fleece to keep the carrot fly away from them.

Keep the carrots and lettuce covered until you harvest them.

I'd cover them with fleece until they are sprouted, then change the fleece for mesh or netting to prevent them being eaten by birds and whatnot.

Well, that's what I'd do lol!  I'm not to experienced in the growing department, and once I got chickens I pretty much gave up hehe!
