hi i have noticed today that my male turkey has rubbed his feathers away on his chest he has done this by rubbing up and down along the fence. the run is plenty big enough and he only rubs along a small section which seperates them from the chickens (its the only bit where they can see each other) do you think i should block it so they cant see each other or may there be more to this? he has only started doing it recently. (past week/week and half) thanks matt.

Is he by himself?  He might just be trying to display to the chickens.  Can you cover the fence with a tarp until the spring fever subsides, perhaps?
