I call £1.98 for 200 very expensive, my local nursery sells them loose at £4.99 a kilo and you'd get 3,000 to 6,000 seed. 200 would cost you about 13p tops. 

As we all know you have to be very careful saving the seed from cucurbits - or do you want be to post that piccie again!

I have grown mangetout in the past but now prefer sugar snaps as I hate the way MGs look when they go over..!  I now sow sugar snaps as they can be left to harvest as peas if they go over without any loss of crop.

Inevitably, we miss picking some mange tout so they end up getting really big. Not wanting to waste anything we've grown, we tend to cut the overlarge pods into strips across and bung them in a stir fry. Yummy!
