Howdy all, can anybody tell me if a 90 lt pot is too large to grow a 1.4 mt high standard Brown Turkey. Its been in the pot since last October and doesnt seem to have moved. It is alive after all the really cold weather we had and is just starting to show a little tip growth but i keep reading it may be too large a pot to start with. Advise please.Thanks

I English, 90lts is about 18" wide by 24" deep. I used a layer of broken house bricks,a thin layer of bagged rotted manure then topped it up with JI3.

I don't think that sounds significantly too large for a tree which is 1.4m tall (that's over 4ft).  I'd be worried about the stability of a pot much smaller than that, given the height of the tree.

But see what others think as I've not grown figs before.

I'd say the size is ok'ish but as yorkie said stability will be a problem if it isn't buried or very well supported
