If allowed, can anyone tell me of local shops (Burnley/Bury/Rochdale) that stock Lady Christl seed potatoes.

Its a long way, but we bought ours at Grosvenor Garden Centre in Chester - on the main road to Wrexham.

I'm not sure, but I think Fryers Garden Centre in Knutsford may have them as well.

They are in short supply this year, our local nursery didn't have any and JayG couldn't get them either in Sheffield.

I have it on good authority (Ian@JBA) that there was a lot of problems with soft rot in them this year.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

We got some from Thompson and Morgan, but only as part of a starter pack.  They're chitting nicely, but not great quality spuds.  A little soft.  But if you must have Lady Christl, try them...

Potato day at Mytholmroyd near Hebden Bridge, it was mentioned on the Radio Leeds 40+ varieties
It's on Saturday 26th, 10-3pm, run by the local organic group, Calder Valley Organic Gardeners, they have a website I think it's CVOG.org, shows pictures from a previous year, and a contact number, you could findout in advance if they have any left. (they do a pre ordering service and I've heard one is sold out already!

Bagueleys in Blackpool had them, not sure if still any in but you could always ring, they sourced some stock from a localish supplier this year due to delays from oop north further than us.

Hi Rozalia
did you get to Hebden Bridge and some lady christl? it was a good day, I thought I'd try some, along with a few other unusual (for me) varieties

I've never tried them before, but was recommended them by the man that runs my allotment society shop.

I've got 2.5 lbs to try this summer.
