my swedes are bout small football size,it says on packet not to lift until oct,i gave some to a friend and they said they were lovely...what do you guys think?

I don't think that mine have done that well. They are a little bigger than a cricket ball and look like they may have cracked at some point.

Muntjac - can you still sow swede? When will it be ready to harvest if sown this weekend?
