Poor old Hetty back to the vets again as she has started to sit around puffed up, yukky stuff coming out again!  Well as she responded to the Baytril we are giving her another go only a much longer course, and also some Lectade which is a rehydration solution as she has diarrhea, fingers crossed that she can beat this!!

Hetty passed away on Sunday, I would like to thank everyone for their help and support, she had a great year with us and here are a few things which make us smile about her; she was the first to show us how much faster you can run with wing assistance, how to swallow a toad, catch shrews and that you can never hide from their beady eyes(see picture) she is no longer in pain...

So sorry to hear she didn't make it.  It never gets easier when you loose a hen.

My thoughts are with you

That's a great photo of Hetty peeping in your kitchen window.  What a lovely way to remember her.
