How did that happen???
« on: March 01, 2011, 15:52 »
My incubators are oversubscribed!

At the moment I have 2 empty spaces in my RCOM 20... and I have 12 eggs arriving today (hopefully!) and another 10 eggs arriving on Friday  :nowink:

So even though I have 22 eggs to candle on day 10 tomorrow, it's not going to free up enough space.  Looks like I'll have to double up somewhere and manually turn them until I can get enough space.

I moved 8 Marans eggs to the hatcher this morning, so I'm really looking forward to watching them hatch on Thursday (hopefully).

Then you'd have to get more eggs to ensure it runs efficiently at full capacity!

I'm not joking!  I have 3 incubators running with a total of 62 eggs in various stages of incubation, 12 eggs "resting" and another 10 due to arrive tomorrow!

At the end of last week I was *this* close to buying an MS Broedmachine full auto 50 egg capacity cabinate incubator... then I was asked if I could go to Argentina for up to 8 weeks... so I daren't start any more eggs off as my mum will be looking after my house and chicks for that thime... she thinks I have half a dozen chicks at the minute lol   when she arrives I could have about 80!
