Kai lan
« on: February 26, 2011, 10:59 »
Writing in the Telegraph today Mark Diacono suggests growing Kai Lan which  is not something I have come across before. He says its great in stir fries, very easy to grow and since I struggled with Pak Choi was thinking of giving it a try.

Has anyone grown it any hints or comments? Is it as nice as he suggests?

Thanks

But presumably they'll do the normal brassica thing of attracting every caterpillar in the universe?

I always order a bit of kai lan in Chinatown (not that I get there much these days).

Lovely in oyster sauce.

Give it a go!
