Any info on growing these lovely bulbs, whites, reds, and pinks bought a mixture but not sure how to look after them wanted them in tubs but are they suited for this way of growing them. Any advise would be good.

Don't plant them too deep!  I did and they never flowered until my little Jack Russell decided to bury his bone in the barrel they were planted in and brought the whole lot up to the surface. They flowered for the first time. Bless im  :)

Compostqueen is dead right there.  Nerines need to be planted with the neck of the bulb just above the surface. 

They need really sharp drainage, so best in a pot unless your soil is really free draining.  A mix of John Innes No 2 and potting grit (75/25) would be ideal.  Top the pot with more grit to ensure no water sits around the bulb necks.  Make sure they get plenty of sun and they should flower well for you  :D

Thanks for your replys definately will plant them in a tub, think they will be better off. As for the dog digging them up, dont think theres any fear of that, he wouldnt fit hes a newfoundland lol.
