Hi there

Does anyone no of any Tree Surgeons in the Rotherham or Sheffield area? I've found a few on the internet but not sure what to do.  Do I just contact them and ask if they supply wood chip?  Should I ask them what trees its from?

yes ring them and ask - explain that you would need the chips for your chickens and ask what they can supply. Some wood isn't suitable (I seem to remember yew being mentioned although I do have a yew tree in my garden).

Do you know where I can find a list of plants/ trees which are aren't suitable?
