I don't intend to sow my Kelvedon Wonder peas until the middle of June.
Has anyone sown these peas this late?
Will I get a good crop?

Last year i sowed my seeds early, got a great crop so decided to sow a late crop aswell, it didnt do too well though compared to the early sowing

Can I ask why you dont plan to sow them till late on?

Unpredictable, I think is the fairest word to use.

It depends on the weather and whether mildew hits you or not.

Due to illness last year, I was unable to get them in at due time, and I sowed some on the 2nd July. I got some off, but it was a poor return for 2 x 32' rows. We did at least have home grown peas for Chistmas.

That's 2 out of 3 late sowings I've done that have got mildew, given the choice, I won't bother again, but it was a case of "needs must" last year.

However, if you've got the space, you've not got a lot to lose by trying.
