Is that Pentland Brig kale? When did you plant it?
(mine is looking sorry for itself too... but a bit bigger than that... am just curious...)

Why not plant some Summer Sprouting Purple Broccoli... to save you having to wait til next Spring for some? As a nice little 'in between' crop?

Can't remember what kale it was. I've never had any problems with psb or kale before, but the psb grew enormous this year so may have outgrown it's strength. The dog has trashed the kale and the cage. I think I'd need iron bars to keep her out! It's the first winter as a grown dog, last year she was a little pup.
