These are Russian bantams and in fact the top photo "Anastasia" is one of the chicks you see in the bottom photo of "Alexandra".

Here's one of Nicholas II.  (yes there was  a Nicholas I too but he disappeared shortly after I got him last Jan).



And Boris his son in the rock garden.  We've stopped trying to keep them in a run and they just roam the garden and follow us about now but they always return to their house at evening time.

Have decided to go with a full size orpington and 2 pekin bantams.  Now i just need to make the house which has arrived flatpack and get feeders, straw etc

Hopefully picking up the chooks sometime in february as they are too wee at the moment.  Wish i could get them earlier... can't wait to get started.
