My bare rooted Strawberries from Suttons have arrived (flamengo).

I am planning on putting them in hanging baskets but won't be able to get them sorted until Thursday.  In the meantime, I have left the roots to soak in water for 2 hours and put them in some seeds trays covered in some John Innes No. 3 and gave them a good water.

Am I ok to plant them into the hanging baskets on Thursday?  Will they will be ok outside until Spring?

Welcome to the site, feel free to pop into the Welcome section for a proper 'hello' 

You should be OK to plant them up, providing that the compost isn't frozen!  Keep an eye on them and make sure they do not dry out.  They are hardy plants but if we get more harsh weather it might be worth considering covering them up overnight with fleece or newspaper.
